PEARL Du DOMINE De. LUNIRAY is her FCI registered name, but to us, she is COQUETTE. She was our first Coton. Coquette was born in France at Luniray Kennel. She has a sweet, demure temperament and great structure. She has been the mistress of the house since the day she arrived and will probably continue to be. See the photos of Coquette to get an idea of how some Coton puppies are born with color that fades by the time they reach adulthood. She had a brown and black mask at birth, but all that remains today is a gray streak down each ear.

Queen of Sheeba

QUEEN OF SHEEBA OF WOODLAND COTTAGE is a true queen in every sense of the word. She is the Marilyn Monroe of Cotons. Sheeba was Reserve Junior World Champion at the World Show in Amsterdam, July 2002, and was the Adult Female World Champion at the World Show in Dortmund, Germany, May 2003. Her gorgeous looks and winning personality make for a combination that’s hard to beat. Sheeba’s arrival in the United States is a story in itself. She was ready to be shipped from Spain when the 9/11 disaster hit the Twin Towers. Both of us and Micky Ceriez, her breeder, became queasy at the thought of flying her, so she stayed in Spain until late October when Luis and Carmen went there to buy Spanish Water Dogs. Once we saw her, we definitely decided that Sheba had been worth the wait.We hope to breed her to our World Champion, SCOTTY-2-HOTTY, in 2004. Stay tuned!

BAR-KEN’S SAND AND SABLE is out of a litter sired by Multi-Champion Bar-Ken’s Jalapeno Casablanca, better known as Happy. Her mother is Oopsie Daisy. We just Call her SABLE. Personalities like Sable’s are the reason people purchase Cotons. She is perfectly content to snuggle on the sofa and watch T.V. or just kick back with you. Yet, she is full of enthusiasm and excitement when time comes for a romp with the other dogs or a walk in the park. Sable is another example of a Coton with color who is now an essentially white dog. She was born with ginger patches which are now barely noticeable.
